Opportunity: Promoting partnerships for expanding Agrobiodiversity content on PKL website
Specific Responsibilities:
- Identify organizations and private sector actors who are involved in Agrobiodiversity-related programs, products and/or food and the resources they have which are valuable for PKL.
- Identify key people within agro-biodiversity related organizations and engage them in providing information on their work, documentation, and interests into the PKL website on a regular basis.
- Regularly meet with key people in key organizations to update information and promote PKL
- Undertake literature searches in English and Lao languages to collect relevant information for PKL focal species for incorporation into PKL.
- Assist with compiling data into the PKL database online
- Undertake research and fieldwork to gather information on priority species to post on PKL
- Translate academic information into people-friendly information to help more people understand agrobiodiversity
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Environment Science, Agriculture, Forestry management and relative.
- Available to work Full-time and travel to the province
- Computer skills: good Microsoft office, basic photoshop
- Good communication skills
