Agriculture Fair

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations would like to inform that preparation for 2019 World Food Day is underway, this year WFD is being observed under the theme “Our Actions Are Our Future Healthy Diets for A #ZeroHunger World.” 

World Food Day is celebrated annually on October 16th by 150 countries across the world in support of the FAO’s mission to use the event to raise awareness and to gather greater support and understanding of the approaches that can help to end world hunger.

The World Food Day Program has commercial and agricultural displays and other activities promoting food and nutrition security, so as to help spread awareness and appreciation for the various contributions of agriculture.

October 15-19, 2019: The displays of various types of locally processed foods and meats, local products, and farmers' products from many provinces. 
October 16, 2019, at 13.30-16.00: Variety of Presentations from farmers, extensions, the government, etc.
