Traditional Medicine in Laos

"Ya Pheun Meuang", traditional or folk medicine, is still an important part of Lao life, especially in rural areas without much access to modern medical practices. Elizabeth Elliott is a medical anthropologist who has studied local remedies in Laos for many years.
