Botanical Description

Culm height: 7 to 10 m. Thin and straight culms. Diameter: 2 to 4 cm. Internode length: 39 to 63 cm. Grows in cold weather.

Description of Use
  • Food: Fresh bamboo shoots, used as food. (Desbleds, 2021)
  • Tools and utensils: The canes are used for Tools and utensils, mainly for the domestic market. (bark & et_al., 2022)
  • Income: These are not processed and only sold as fresh bamboo shoots. (Porbounmixaithor & et_al., 2016)
