Botanical Description

Small orchid, with rounded erect stem about 0.2-0.5 cm in diameter and 10-15 cm long, with five to ten leaves at the tip of young stems. The erect inflorescence grows from the node of an axillary leaf, with many white and pink flowers up to 2 cm wide.

Description of Use

This species is becoming rare as whole plants are collected from the wild. Harvesting is limited to 4-10 plants/day per person per day and plants sell for up to 120,000 LAK/plant.
