Yield, quality of producing: Harvest of Matsutake for Xieng Khouang Province can be in estimated to be in the range of 20−24 tons. In 2015, the district with the biggest harvest was Paek District with total of 8.0 tons collected by families from 11 villages and the district with the lowest harvest was Nonghet District of a total of 1.1 tons collected by families from 7 villages, (Pedersen & Phannorath, 2016).
