Botanical Description

Monopodial epiphytic orchid, erect or ascending up to 1 m tall. Leaf blade 25-35 × 1-3 cm, thick, apex unequally 2-lobed. Inflorescences 1-3, 10-25 cm long, sparsely 5-8-flowered; peduncle 10-18 cm; floral bracts broadly ovate, 3-4 × 3-3.5 mm, apex obtuse, green. flowers white, labellum purple mixed white. Column white. anther cap yellowish white.

Monopodial epiphytic plant found on the top of tall trees in semi-deciduous forest with bright light or direct sun, hot to warm temperatures, high humidity and plenty of water year round.

Occurrence in Region: Found in Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand and Laos
Occurrence in nature (ecology and ecosystem):Rare in the wild. Found at the elevations of 300 to 1000 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing in open forest
