Botanical Description

Plant branching is very long stem carrying straight and suberect or curved, cylindrical leaves that is almost ever blooming, but most often in the late spring and early summer, on a15 to 30 cm long, axillary, inflorescence with a few to several 3 to 6 loosely arranged, large, showy, fragrant flowers.

Occurrence in Region Chinese Himalayas, Assam, Bangladesh, eastern Himalayas, India, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. Occurrence in nature (ecology and ecosystem) A giant sized, terrestrial/lithophyte leafed, vandanaceous, monopodial, hot growing epiphyte that occurs at the elevation of 200 to 1200m in full sun.

 Paste for cataplasm by branch pounds in paste  used as decrease bone pain. Price 15,000-30,000 kip per plant.
