Botanical Description

This small to medium sized, medium warm growing epiphyte has flattened, 25 cm long, clavate pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical, ovate leaves that blooms in the late spring on a short, pendulous inflorescence produced below the apical leaf and is not much longer with very short lived, fimbriate flowers.

Occurrence in Region: Assam, eastern Himalayas, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos and south central China. Occurrence in nature (ecology and ecosystem: Found in tropical valleys at altitudes of 500 to 1200 meters at the top of tall trees in ever-green forest.

Description of Use

Sold the whole plant about 45,000 kip per rhizome, 50,000-80,000 kip per kilogram.
