Keooudone Souvannakhoummane (Done)
Project manager

Keooudone completed a bachelor's degree in biology from NUoL. From 2010-2015 he worked at the Pha Tad Ke Botanical Gardens. He received a scholarship from WWF's Russell E. Train Education for Nature program to continue his studies, completing his master's degree from 2015-2018. His interests include research on Zingiberaceae, Begoniaceae, Balsaminaceae, Capparidaceae, and Orchidaceae. He conducted research on wild terrestrial orchids in Phoukoud district, Xiangkhouang province for his master's thesis. In 2016 he joined the Agrobiodiversity Initiative (TABI), working on the NTFP database between 2016-2018, and began work as the Knowledge Base Data Manager of the Pha Khao Lao platform in April 2018.

Andy Souvanphakdy (Dy)
Project assistance

Andy Souvanphakdy completed a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting at the National University of Laos. She also holds a diploma in business administration from the Lao-American College. Andy is interested in local products, local economic development, and has experience from being volunteer and completing several internships for projects, NGOs and UN agencies (VFI, FAO).

Biodiversity database

Duangkhae is a master's degree student in biology. She is interested in studying ferns in Lao PDR. She has joined us in October 2020 to develop and compile the information into the database of Biodiversity Knowledge Base.
